Don Gallico is a master at designing magical illusions, which are sold by his employer, Mr. Ormond, to renowned magicians such as Rinaldi. Gallico is also a master of disguise and realistic mask creation. When he embarks upon his own career as Gallico the Great, showcasing his original illusions, his dreams are shattered by Ormond's interference. Driven by frustration, Gallico turns to murder.
