A brother and sister, Roderick and Pamela Fitzgerald, move into an abandoned seaside house on the English coast. Initially enchanted by their new home, they soon become disturbed by eerie stories about the previous owners and grow suspicious after meeting Stella Meredith, the daughter of the house’s former occupants, who now lives nearby with her grandfather.
