Set in 1886, "Gun Glory" follows gunman and gambler Tom Early as he returns to his homeland hoping to settle down, only to find himself rejected by the community. Upon arriving at his farm, he discovers his wife Alice has recently died, and his son, Tom Early Jr., now works the land alone and disagrees with his father's way of life. The next day, Tom heads into town for supplies and witnesses Jo, a store employee, being humiliated by her boss, Sam. Meanwhile, cattle baron Grimsell arrives with hired gunfighters and plans to drive 20,000 head of cattle through the townspeople's land, disregarding their property rights. When Grimsell's gunman challenges Tom, a deadly confrontation ensues. Tom, in self-defense, kills the aggressor and then offers Jo a job at his farm. As tensions escalate, the preacher attempts to seek legal help while Grimsell calls in more gunfighters to intimidate the town.
