Cheerful outlaw Charlie Boles leaves his former partners, Lance and Jersey, and heads for California as the Gold Rush begins. Soon, a mysterious lone gunman dressed in black is robbing Wells Fargo gold shipments. One fateful day, the stagecoach he robs carries his old friends, Lance and Jersey, and the notorious dancer Lola Montez, who is arriving to perform in Sacramento.
