The operators of 'Silver Haven,' a cult-like group swindling wealthy people, are poised to inherit a large sum after the death of a woman's heir. Leader Joseph Jones decides to expedite matters by kidnapping Wally Benton, his fiancée, and a friend. Wally, known as 'The Fox,' is a radio detective who solves murders on the air. Jones demands that Wally devise the perfect murder plot and is willing to kill others along the way to ensure his plan succeeds.
