Connie Casey, the daughter of Mr. Casey, wishes to attend Pottawatomie College. Unbeknownst to her, her father hires four football players as her bodyguards. The college, facing financial troubles, receives an unexpected boon when the players donate their salaries to help out, and subsequently join the college football team—turning it into one of the best in the league. Meanwhile, one of the players, Clint, falls for Connie. However, when Connie discovers Clint’s true role as her bodyguard, she decides to return back East, prompting the bodyguards to follow and leaving the team behind.
