A man devastated by the apparent death of his wife becomes suicidal but is unable to end his own life. In desperation, he hires someone to arrange for a professional killer to do the job for him. Soon after, he discovers that his wife is actually alive. Unfortunately, the man he paid to hire the assassin is dead, leaving him with no idea who the hired killer is or how to call off the hit.
