A racetrack co-owner discovers that his partner has made a secret deal with a gangster, who intends to take over the track and eliminate his new associate. The situation becomes even more complicated when the co-owner becomes involved with an alluring woman, unknowingly implicated in a hit-and-run accident, who tries to set him up for the crime.
