Two young thugs rob a bookie as he leaves a dog-racing track with his winnings. However, when they grab his case full of money, they discover it is chained to the bookie's wrist. Desperate, they race around town searching for a way to separate the case from the bookie, who by now has been beaten so badly he appears dead. Eventually, they devise what they believe is a foolproof plan, but unforeseen complications arise.
