Astronomer Bill Whitley is so engrossed in his recent comet discovery that he neglects his beautiful wife, Vicky. Feeling overlooked, Vicky becomes intrigued by astrology, encouraged by an eccentric neighbor. She starts following horoscopes from the dubious Margaret Sibyll. When Vicky's horoscope predicts a new dream man in her future, she believes this is Lloyd Hunter—a dashing foreign correspondent and air raid warden.
