Set in London at the turn of the century, 1901, this film follows three men on a clandestine mission from the IRA: to steal all the gold stored in the vaults of the Bank of England. Led by Norgate, they discover that an old, forgotten sewer beneath the city provides secret access under the vaults. Their audacious plan, however, is complicated by Captain Fitch, a young and vigilant bank guard with growing suspicions.
