Lieutenant Kenny Williams, a dedicated member of the homicide squad, is engaged to Maxine Carroll, the Mayor's secretary. However, Kenny's devotion to his job constantly disrupts their plans, leaving Maxine to wonder if he's more married to his work than to her.
