While vacationing on a remote Mexican beach, the Stilwin family's getaway turns into a nightmare. Doug Stilwin is trapped when his leg becomes pinned under a log on a deserted jetty. Unable to free him, Helen Stilwin sets off in their car to find help, only to be kidnapped by an escaped criminal along the way. As time runs out, Helen must find a way to escape her captor and return to her husband before the tide rises.
