A group of passengers boards a plane from London for a weekend in early 1950s Paris. Among them are a Scotsman in his kilt, an elderly lady painter, an international negotiator, and a pretty young girl. Each finds that the city welcomes them in unique ways, and their lives are transformed over the course of their stay.
