Beauregard Clemment, a New York nightclub crooner, inherits a run-down Georgia showboat and decides to transform it into a nightclub. Along the way, he falls in love with Sally Jane, the granddaughter of Thadeus Jackson—archenemy of Beau's late grandfather.
