Each year, the extremely wealthy yet unpleasant Greene family gathers at their eerie old castle to discuss the terms of a will, despite their mutual animosity. This year, however, the reunion turns deadly as family members begin to fall victim to mysterious murders. Detective Philo Vance is called in to investigate, examining clues and suspects in a bid to unveil the killer.
