A scientific expedition discovers that gold exists on Tarzan's escarpment. The villainous Medford and Vandermeer kidnap Jane and Boy to extort the location of the gold from Tarzan. Soon, everyone is captured by hostile natives, and it is up to Tarzan and his elephants to mount a daring rescue.
