King Arthur establishes the greatest reign England has ever seen, aided by his indispensable Knights of the Round Table, especially Sir Lancelot. Arthur takes Guinevere as his bride, but a romantic triangle develops as Guinevere also loves Lancelot, and he struggles with his own feelings toward her. Meanwhile, treachery brews as the evil Morgan le Fay and her knight, Sir Mordred, conspire against them. Their machinations set in motion the decline and eventual fall of Arthur and Camelot.
