Robert L. Scott has dreamed his whole life of being a fighter pilot. When war breaks out, he finds himself flying transport planes over 'The Hump' into China. Determined to see combat, Scott persuades General Chennault to allow him to join the famed Flying Tigers—the group of heroic airmen battling the Japanese pre-Pearl Harbor.
