Former pirate captain LaRochelle is captured by the British and forced to work as a spy against other pirates, notably Blackbeard and Captain Providence. To regain his freedom and his ship, he pretends to be a friend of the British, hoping to deceive the pirates he encounters while crossing the Caribbean. His plan takes a turn when his ship is overtaken by Captain Providence, a fierce and beautiful woman. She trusts him and allows him to join her crew, but Blackbeard, her mentor, remains suspicious. Romance blossoms between Providence and LaRochelle, despite the fact that LaRochelle is already married. When LaRochelle betrays Providence to the British, she discovers the plot, kidnaps his wife, and escapes, intent on selling her rival at a slave market as revenge. Determined to save his wife and reclaim his honor, LaRochelle pursues Providence across the seas.
